In third place in the present Angolan Parliament comes a party unknown at least to the Portuguese media. It's the PRS (Partido de Renovação Social, or Party for Social Renewal) and has 6 MPs. The flag is a horizontal bicolor of Red-Green with a Black band at the hoist, and a White disc in the intersection of the three fields.

Partido de Renovação Social (PRS) or Social Renewal Party became the third largest party in Angola following the the 2008 parliamentary elections with 8 seats out of 220. The Chr. Michelsen Institute in Norway, reports that:
The PRS, Partido de Renovação Social (Social Renewal Party) is the biggest and oldest of the smaller parties. It had 6 deputies in the outgoing parliament and held the Vice Presidency. It was established in 1990 and the party leader is Eduardo Kuangana. The PRS is a moderate opposition party and a party of the current coalition government with two portfolios. The PRS deputies have voted with, and otherwise co-operated with the ruling MPLA on many issues, and supported the candidacy of Mr Eduardo dos Santos for president in 1992. The PRS was formed as a platform for people of the northeast of the country, in the Lunda provinces. The PRS is still a regional and regionalist party, although it has now more national outlook and presence. Decentralisation, in particular local elections and a federal system of government, are important to the PRS. It is a relatively well-funded party, but the party structure is client based and old-fashioned.

On the National Electoral Committee website the party flag matches the image and description shown above.
