About the Club Náutico San Isidro

Club Náutico San Isidro (CNSI) was founded on 26 February 1910. Originally a yacht club, the club progressively set up sections dedicated to golf, tennis, swimming, football, squash, volleyball, gymnastics and bridge.

Burgee

The burgee of CNSI is shown on http://www.cnsi.com.ar/. It is a blue triangular flag with a broad red diagonal stripe in the middle, charged with a yellow star. CNSI was funded on 26 February 1910.

The emblems of CNSI are described in the club statutes, last amended 24 September 2005, as follows:

    Chapter VI. Colours and emblems.

    Article 6.

    The colours of the club are a granate-coloured bend on a blue background, forming three proportional fields, with a five-pointed golden star in the center of the median field, and its emblems are:

    1. Coat of arms: An anchor argent placed vertically on a granate- coloured oval field shaded, fimbriated or; on a field azure of the same shape with a nine-rayed rising sun in chief and a five-pointed star argent in base, all surrounded by a double border or of the same shape.

    2. Cockade: Similar to the coat of arms, adapted.

    3. Burgee: A granate-coloured bend on a blue field forming three proportionate fields with a a five-pointed golden star in the center of the median field.

    4. Pennant: A vertical granate-coloured stripe on a blue field, forming three equal stripes:

      a) the President's pennant has two five-pointed golden stars in the right stripe and one five-pointed golden star in the central field;
      b) the First Vice President's pennant has one five-pointed golden star in the right stripe and one five-pointed golden star in the central field;
      c) the Second Vice President's pennant has one five-pointed golden star in the right stripe;
      d) the Commodore's pennant has two five-pointed golden stars in the central field;
      e) the Vice Commodore's pennant has one five-pointed golden star in the central field.

    5. Badge: Similar to the burgee, adapted to be wore by the club members; or equal to the pennant, with the same size and use as the member's badge, to be used by the President, Vice Presidents, Commodore and Vice Commodore.

    6. The emblems can be used on trophies, medals and plaques, and the Board can award an honour emblem to all members or non members to be rewarded for their service to the club.

    7. The size of the emblem shall be adapted to their use. The club burgee can be hoisted only on registered ships and should be mandatory hoisted during navigation. [...]
