About YCF

Yacimientos Carboniferos Fiscales (YCF) was a state owned mining company formed in 1958. Privatised in 1994, the company went promptly into liquidation.

YCF had a shipping section with the book La Marina Mercante Argentina (1961) showing a blue flag with a vertical white band and overall a badge of a black anchor and ships wheel surmounted by a blue panel with a broad white horizontal band bearing the black letters "YCF" [see image].
