The flag of Tasmania Police has a plain blue field with their badge at the centre. The
badge comprises the map of Tasmania in blue and a gold lion passant guardant, the St Edward's crown,
their title "Tasmania Police" in white on blue, a gold starburst, and a green laurel wreath. The badge is
however different from their cap badges. Reference photo: No. 37 by Steve Lovegrove

The flag that is paraded by the Tasmania Police is however slightly different from the one hoisted on
poles. For the parade flag, the lion is red and the island of Tasmania is represented in white. The
starburst is also depicted in yellow/gold throughout. Photo reference: No. 44 by Leigh Atkinson

Having looked at the National Police Memorial photos website, I can now summarize the patterns of lance pennons used by mounted police in each Australian state and territory:
Tasmania: medium blue above white, with the police shoulder patch (1/3
the pennon width) at the centre (centred 1/3 the pennon length).
Proportions 1:3; swallowtail 1/3 the pennon length.
