The coat of arms, designed by Kenan Avdagić, is "Azure the town's skyline or in front of mountains also or and in sinister three drops of the same, above two rows of eleven more drops, in the base inscribed '1533.', in the chief the name of municipality".
The municipality is divided into 26 local communities (the town of the same name and 25 surrounding places), represented by the 25 drops.
