CELESTE, which represents the magnificence of the immeasurable celestial vault that surrounds us, as well as our hydrographic potential and purity of our girls, boys, adolescents and young people of our Town.
RED, represents the blood and courage of the pioneers, who fought against the adversities of time, nature and misunderstandings, offering their lives to bequeath us this land, yesterday, today and always a bastion of Bolivianity, as well as the indomitable spirit, the mettle, courage, effort and work of the women and men of our region.
GREEN, symbolizes the immense Amazon jungle that makes up the geographical space we inhabit, as well as our hope and decision to seek better days for our people, the region and all of Bolivia.

The Shield is the civic symbol of the Municipality of Riberalta. It has the following descriptions and characters:
The Shield will carry the Municipality Flag on the upper part with symmetrical half-moon side folds crowning the symbol. A top horizontal stripe with the description "RIBERALTA" in gold letters on a bright red background.
It will be divided into four quarters:
The Upper Left quarter will carry a bow and a warrior arrow, as a symbol alluding to the untamed ethnic groups of the Bolivian Amazon region, a symbol embedded in a red flag that evokes the blood shed by women and men of the region, in defense of the integrity and national sovereignty.
Superior Right quarter shows the almond tree in its fullness, preceded by a rubber beginning in the process of smoking, on a burning buyon. All this on a background of warm blue sky and fertile land.
The symbolism of this barracks expresses the wealth of the plant kingdom, our immeasurable airspace, fundamental pillars of our regional economy.
The Lower Left quarter shows the majesty of the confluence of the two colossal rivers: "Beni" and "Madre de Dios", on whose right bank surrounded by immense forest, the city of Riberalta sits, reflecting the potential of our water resources , a natural means of communication, an innumerable source of wealth and regional geographic power.
The Lower Right quarter has a young jaguar lurking in the center, with its jaws open, on a red-lit pavilion, symbolizing the wealth of our fauna, the strength, courage and rebellion of the brave Riberalteñas and Riberalteños.
At the foot of the Shield are two large alligators in an attitude of defense, symbolizing vigilance for the preservation of our ecological wealth.
