Description of the flag

White flag charged centrally with a large badge, showing a waterfall and sunset landscape; on the foreground, a man and a moose appearing from either sides of the badge edge. Around and above, the lettering "Ka'a'gee Tu first nation" between two pair of feathers, around and below the lettering "Nahendeh"; these lettering in a fantasy face with log shaped letters.

Kakisa, with a population of 36 (as of 1996), was formerly called by the traditional name of K' agee (meaning "between the willows"), and is located at 60°57'N lat. and 117°02'W long., on the east side of Kakisa Lake at the start of the Kakisa River. Local languages are South Slave and English, and the community belongs to the electoral district of Deh Cho and to the land claim area of Deh Cho Treaty 11.
