Flag is a logo on white.
Among the seven icons used to represent the municipality, the logo uses the yellow one, which represents heritage. It features a simplified representation of the central rose windows of the parish church, which is the municipality's main landmark. This is also a reference to the rose windows of the prestigious European gothic cathedrals. The rich shade of yellow recalls the use of gold during that historical period.

The typography used for "LYSTER" is derived from English fonts, recalling that wood merchant Charles King asked in 1852 to the Grand Tronc railway company to name the local station to Lyster, referring to his English village of birth. The typography reinvents the central decorative elements and applied them to a sans serif font (Insignia Roman modified). the dark marine blue is often associated with prestige, calm, wisdom, truth and loyalty. The color also brings much seriousness to the image of the municipality.

The color specifications are blue Pantone 647 C and yellow Pantone 130.

The St. Anastasie church, deemed one of the oldest ones in Quebec, was built in 1878. The church was increased and totally revamped in 1908, with the addition of a statue of St. Anastasia designed by sculptor Louis Jobin (1845-1928).
