The image above shows the correct flag of Bassecourt based after the coat of arms as they appear on the website of Bassecourt at http://www.bassecourt.ch. Mr. Stadelmann, former communal secretary of Bassecourt, reports that the armorial of Bernese Jura edited in 1952 shows a wrong version of the coat of arms (see image below). Mr. Stadelmann finds it sad that the commune didn't intervene when the book was edited.
