Province. It was founded in 1778.
The flag of Úmbita is horizontally divided green-white-blue.

"Green represents the firmness of the inhabitants' moral
principles, their acute faith and religious beliefs, sincere
friendhsip, empowerment, respect of the others and hope in a
prosperous future, outlined in the fertility of the fields.
White represents the attachment of the inhabitants to their
territory, their noble thoughts and ideas required to maintain
the unity of the territory, love and peace.
Dark blue represents generosity of its rivers and of its natural
environment, and biodiversity resources."
There is a horizontally divided red-white-green flag shown on a photograph
taken during a visit to Corferias, the international center of
trade and exhibition located in Bogotá. The flag is not
necessarily related to Úmbita.
