I have just received from the Government of Cundinamarca a
book that deals with on the shields and flags of this department.
This book is called "Shields, Flags and Hymns of
Cundinamarca", written by Rosalba Salazar Gallo for the
Secretariat of Culture of Cundinamarca. Here is
the flag of Susa (in Valle de Ubaté Province).

"Consta de tres franjas horizontales y un triángulo, cuyo
significado es el siguiente:
Primera faja de color azul, representa el firmamento cubre el
suelo y la laguna que embellece el municipio.
Segunda faja de color amarillo, simboliza las riquezas
depositadas en la laguna por el cacique Tisquesusa y también la
riqueza en valores humanos que poseen sus habitantes.
Tercera faja de color verde, la fertilidad de sus tierras y sus
abundantes cosechas."
