Overview

Plato is a municipality in Magdalena department. It was founded in 8 December 1626 by Fray Nicomedes Fonseca. Promoted to municipality in 1853.
The flag of Plato is horizontally divided white over green (so say the description) and charged with the municipal coat of arms inside a circle.
Information in Spanish: "La bandera de nuestro municipio esta compuesta por los colores blanco y verde con el escudo en el medio de ella."
