Conde Ansúrez, Colegio Hispanoamericano

image by Ivan Sache, 5 January 2009

"Colegio Hispanoamericano Conde Ansúrez" was founded in 1959 in Bogotá by three Spanish educators, Mateo Matamala Mateo, José Manuel Macias Payo and Prudencio Gonzalez Tejerina. The institute is named after Count (in Spanish, "Conde") Pedro Ansúrez (d. 1117), believed to be the founder and first lord of Valladolid, recalling that the founders of the institute were born in Valladolid.
The flag of the institute is shown on photos taken during sports events in 2008 as blue with a red ascending diagonal stripe.
The symbols' page of the website of the institute shows the flag with the badge of the website applied in the middle, but this does not seem to match the real flag. The flag represents the integration of colours of the Spanish (red) and Colombian (blue) flags. Blue represents the ocean the founders of the institute have crossed through their new homeland.

In the site they say that the flag is green and brown.
Carlos Thompson, 23 March 2003

Universidad de Córdoba was established in 1962 in Montería by Departmental Ordinance No. 6 and officially registered in 1964 by Governmental Decree No. 319. Law No. 37 of 3 August 1966 conferred to the university the status of Decentralized Autonomous Entity. However, the university was firmly established only in 1970, after approval by the State Council. The foundation of the university is credited to the bacteriologist Elías Bechara Zainúm (1920-2013), who pushed the project and was appointed first director of the university in March 1964. Classes started on 6 April 1964 in rooms provided by Colegio Nacional José María Córdoba, with two Faculties (Agronomy; Veterinary and Zootechnical Medicine) and one School (Topography). The university was relocated in 1968 in the New York estate, which had been purchased in 1965. The university is now made of eight Faculties: Education and Humanities, Veterinary and Zootechnical Medicine, Engineering, Basic Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences, and Economical Sciences
The flag of the university is horizontally divided green-coffee brown. Green represents the prosperous growth of vegetal species, and, as far as cattle is concerned, of the species improved by scientific intervention. Coffee brown represents the fertility of the soil.

image by Ivan Sache, 19 October 2018

The flag of Escuela Normal Superior de Corozal (Sucre Department), in dimensions 0.90 m x 1.80 m, is horizontally divided emerald green-pearl white-red.

The green stripe is a symbol of hope of the educationalists in a better future.
The white stripe is a symbol of balance, justice, impartiality and purity, which are epic attributes of a good teacher; it also evokes the well-deserved nickname of "Pearl of Savannah" awarded to Corozal.
The red stripe is a symbol of the great fervor and devotion that characterize the students.

I am not exactly sure about its design. Based on pictures, it seems that flag has diagonal stripes.
Zoltan Horvath, 18 January 2014

I guess the flag has diagonal stripes, but I haven't seen any further information, so for now.
Esteban Rivera, 18 January 2014

And the obverse [is seen] here, but again there are people in the way.
