Šelešovice municipality flag

Image after Petr Exner's Vexilologický Lexikon prapory obcí Čr (2003) - Šelešovice, Kroměříž district, Zlín region - adopted 25 Nov 2003.
Descrioption: "List tvoří tři vodorovné pruhy, červený, bílý a červený, přes které je položen svislý modrý pruh široký polovinu délky listu. V modrém pruhu bílý kolčí helm, klenotem prázdný bílý kotouč se třemi zelenými pavími pery, červeno-bílá přikrývka. Poměr šířky k délce listu je 2:3".
A very strange charge in the center; a short googling session produced only Mr. Oborny, the only mechanic in the vicinity of Kroměříž town, who is able to repair other cars than Skodas. Our village-mechanic, Harm Robroch, would laugh his heart out if he saw one of his tires on the village-flag...

These get better and better... a stylised surrealist king with a circle for a head and peacock feathers for a crown, looking like one of the clockpeople in Kienholz's "Beanery" (or perhaps Kenny from "South Park"!). It did look to me like a surrealist figure, with a feathered crown and circle for head, with a military styled shirt complete with medals!
James Dignan, 18 Jun 2004

The charge is a helmet in the base, with an admittedly odd crest, the big circular thing - and the 'crown' on the top is a walled city crown, indicating civil heraldry... And when it's on a flag and flat, it looks weird. As a crest above a coat of arms, it might be slightly better-looking.
John Udics, 18 Jun 2004

On the other hand, if this flag were on top of a horse, we'd have to blazon saddles...
