Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) shield is a bundle of green sprouts of a willow tree.
Meaning:
The bundle is a canting element. Sprouts of willow are denoted also as "Ruten", which are used fort he production of baskets. The bundle is known as a local symbol on borderstones at least since 1682. The current pattern is derived from a municipal stamp from the 18th century, being in use until 1930. The tinctures were fixed together with the approval.
