Description of coat of arms:
In a golden (= yellow) shield is an oak in natural colour standing on the green base.
Meaning:
The arms were adopted in 1951. The arms show a canting oak tree (German: /Eiche/). The use of an oak leaf as a local symbol is proven since 1681. In 1903 the municipality adopted a seal showing an oak tree. Since 1919 the tree was placed into a red shield. Due to heraldic rules in 1951 the shield became golden (= yellow) and the tree was placed upon a green base.

The banner was approved in 1952, the coat of arms in 1951.
