Shield Argent, issuant from a mount Vert a linden of the same, chief Vert charged with two connected chevrons reversed Argent.
Meaning:
The linden already appeared on a local seal from 1670. Lindens had been replaced by oaks in the 19th century as predominating species. The former arms displayed in a silver shield on top of a green mount issuant an eradicated oak tree proper, i.e. green with brown trunk and roots. The tree was representing a former court, held beneath a tree, and it was either interpreted as a linden, called "Wrö-Linde", or an oak, the canting "Wern-Eiche". Chief and double chevron were added after 2000, as the old arms didn't gain the approval. The position of the chevrons is displaying a white initial "W".
