Shield Argent, a miner's hammer Sable and a glassblowers pipe Sable with a glass bubble Or in saltire, in chief the torso of a stag rampant Gules.
Meaning:
Hammer and pipe are representing the two most important local business lines. The stag is taken from the arms of the Lords of Hirschheid, local rulers until 1360,when the village was acquired by the Burgraves of Nürnberg, represented by the tinctures black and white.
