Shield Argent parted by a fess wavy Azure, above an oak stem issuant Gules with two acorns of the same on either side, beneath three houses Gules.
Meaning:
Esbach is first mentioned in 1317. It had been also the name of an important family in Coburg City. The oak with acorns is taken from their family arms. The three houses are punning and representing Dörfles, meaning "village". Their colour is also alluding to the local red clay. The fess wavy is a representation of the Itz River, crossing the municipality.
