Shield Argent; a round, embattled tower Azure with cone roof topped by a ball and superimposed by an inescutcheon Argent, charged with three hearts Gules ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The tower is representing the Lubwart Tower of the local moated castle. The shield is a differentiation of the family arms of the Counts of Brehna. Its water lily leaves were changed into hearts to make the arms punning, as hearts are considered to be affiliated with love (German: Liebe). Others say, the hearts are taken from the family arms of the Lords of Ileburg, local rulers for a long time. The pattern appeared first on local seals from 1487.
