Shield Gules, an embattled wall Argent with port Gules, crowned by five towers Argent with roofs Azure, the port is charged with salter's tools Or, a hook and a spade, in saltire.
Meaning:
The oldest seal of Allendorf with prints from 1252 already displayed a wall with five towers. In the following centuries on seals and in literature since 1605 only minor changes were reported. Allendorf merged with Bad Sooden in 1929. In 1931 the salter's tools were added in the port and the tinctures of the arms were fixed. The tools are taken from the seal of Sooden's predecessor Fürstensod from 1554.
The arms were approved on 30 November 1931.
