Shield parted by a bend sinister chequered of Argent and Gules, above right sable a lion rampant issuant Or, beneath left Or a shearer's scissors Sable.
Meaning:
The chequered bend is representing the Cistercian Fürstenfeld Abbey, the former local ruler. The lion issuant is taken from the arms of the Barons of Lotzeck, who acquired Nannhofen Castle in 1826. The lion is also representing the former municipality of Nannhofen. The scissors are taken from the arms of the Lords of Haldenberg, which lived in Oberdorf, the western part of Mammendorf, since 1165. They donated their possessions to the Fürstenfeld Abbey in 1357.
