Bibertal Coat of Arms

Shield bendy sinister of five of Gules and Argent, issuant from base a triplemount Vert, on fess point an inescutcheon Argent charged with a pomegranate Gules leafed and stemmed Vert under an enhanced fess wavy Azure.
Meaning:
The municipality is located alongside the name giving Biberbach (=beaver creek), which is connecting all former municipalities, which formed Bibertal in 1978. Those had been Anhofen, Bühl, Ettlishofen, Echlishausen, Kissendorf, Schneckenhofen and Silheim. The triplemount is representing Bühl, which means hill. The partition per bend is taken from the Margraviate of Burgau, local ruler since the Medieval. The pomegranate is taken from the arms of the Osterberg kin. The family acquired the Lordship of Bühl in 1663. The fess wavy is canting and a representation of the name giving creek.
