Shield Or, a wyvern statant Gules, spitting fire, on top of a triplemount Vert, issuant from base.
Meaning:
The wyvern is a special kind of a dragon (German: Drache), having only two legs, usually shaped like eagle's claws. In this case they are shaped like lion's paws. The name of the village had been Drachenstein (= dragon's rock) in 1338. The arms are thus canting with the triplemount representing the tuff rock, on which is located the local parish church. Benath the rock is a cave called "Drachenloch" (= dragon's lair).
