Shield parted per pale, at dexter lozengy of Azure and Argent, a sinister Argent two staffs fleury Gules in saltire.
Meaning:
The lozengy shield is taken from the arms of the Palatine Counts from the Wittelsbach kin. The Palatine Counts ruled the village since 1330. The local rule was divided among a few families of noblemen as vassals of the Palatine Counts. Among those families had been the Lords of Venningen, represented by the staffs. At least since 1435 they gained control over half the village, and since 1760 the complete control. Former seals from the 19th century had just displayed a pair of initials "EB".

The arms were adopted in 1901 by the municipality. The banner was approved on 13 November 1954 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Nordbaden.
