In a blue shield is a silver (= white) head of a hare, accompanied by three 8-point stars of the same colour.
Meaning:
Reilingen belonged to the Palatine Electorate from 1462 to 1802/1803. The current pattern already appeared on the oldest local court seal from 1719. It was surrounded by branches of palm and the shield was topped by a lion couchant and three more stars. In the 19th century just the hare's head was on the seals. The hare's origin is unknown. The colours of shield and flag are those of the Wittelsbach kin and were introduced in 1958.

Based on the shield of the first seal the coat of arms was adopted by the municipality in 1901. The flag was adopted in 1958.
