Shield Or ; at dexter a sinister facing bear rampant Sable, armed and tongued Gules, at sinister a grapevine Azure stemmed and leafed Vert, in base two barrulets wavy Azure.
Meaning:
The barrulets wavy are symbolizing the High Rhine (German: Hochrhein). The bear is taken from the arms of the Lords of Bärenfels from Basel, who had ruled Grenzach from 1469/1491 until 1735 as a fiefdom. They also had the low level cognisance over Wyhlen. The grapevine is symbolising viticulture.
