Shield quartered, 1st quarter Argent, 2nd quarter Gules, on both quarters a stag passant reguardant in counterchanged tinctures, 3rd quarter Argent a way cross Vert, 4th quarter Vert a windmill Argent.
Meaning:
The stag (German: Hirsch) is a canting element. The mill is representing the local windmills and agriculture in general. Way crosses are typical in the area standing alongside the roads.
