Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules a castle Argent with open gate and couped per pale, at sinister Argent a triplemount Vert charged with hammer and mallet Argent in saltire.
Meaning:
The tinctures red and white are those of the Bishopric of Augsburg, local ruler until 1803. The triplemount is also representing Grünten, a local mountain. Hammer and mallet are alluding to the local ore mining from the 17th until the 19th century.
