Wiggensbach Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, on top of a hill Vert a castle Argent with two embattled towers, roofs Gules and a bridge Or.
Meaning:
Since 1925 the municipality used proper arms without approval. They displayed St. Pancras, the local patron saint. The tinctures had been those of the Princely Abbey of Kempten, red and blue. (see the seal: here). The castle is a representation of the fortress of Seiseck, also called Wiggensbach Castle. The tinctures red and blue are still referring to the abbey. The arms are based on a draft of Otto Hupp from 1937.
