Fehrbellin Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a church Gules with two towers, masoned Sable, with double arched port Argent and windows Sable, issuant from between the towers a monk with robe and hat Sable.
Meaning:
The pattern varied in details in the past but not essentially. Monk and church perhaps are alluding to the Brandenburg Collegiate. Bishop Siegfried II of Brandenburg made Fehrbellin seat of a vice-bishop (Archidiakon) in 1216. City rights were granted in 1294. In Fehrbellin on 28 June 1675 Friedrich Wilhelm the Great Elector defeated the Swedish Army and liberated the Swedish part of West Pomerania.

The arms were approved on 18 February 1993.
