Shield Vert, two gable shelves Or on top end with horseheads in saltire, surrounded by seven stones Argent in orle.
Meaning:
The shelves are representing the Lower Saxonian farm houses, which are typical for the village. The stones are representing seven big stones of granite, probably marking the boundary of a prehistorical monument.

Flag and arms were approved on 16 March 2001 by Minister of Interior of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and published in the Municipal Roll of Arms Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as no.239.

Shield Gules, two grain ears Or in saltire, flanked by three 6-sokes wheels Or, two in flanches and one in base.
Meaning:
The wheels are representing the local motorway service area. Their number is symbolising the villages Barkow, Granzin and Stolpe proper. The grain ears are symbolising agriculture.
