Renaissance shield Argent, issuant from base a triplemount Azure, in centre an impending sword Gules in pale with sheath sinister bendy of Sable and Gules and flanked by two horns of a ram, the dexter one Gules and the sinister one Sable.
Meaning:
The sword is referring to a court of justice in the 10th century. Mount and horns are taken from the family arms of the Lords of Widerspach, who ruled the local district (Bavarian: Hofmark) since the 16th century. The kin died out in 1706 and the biggest part of the district was acquired by the Electors of Bayern.
