Shield Gules in base hammer and mallet Argent in saltire, in chief a fish najant of the same.
Meaning:
The fish is taken from the arms of the Augustine Provostry of St. Zeno in Bad Reichenhall. Since 1416 its arms displayed two silver fish in bend on a red shield. The estate and and the forest of Incella were acquired by the provosts in 1177 based on a donation of the Archbishopric of Salzburg. The provosts extended the area to a superb district (Bavarian: Hofmark). The tools are symbolising mining of lead and zinc on the slopes of the Rauschenberg, a mountain. A smeltery was completed around 1670. In its best years the plant had more than 100 miners. At the end of the 18th century business was finished.
