It is a red - yellow vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is in the centre of a white bannerhead.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. Above in a black field is a golden (=yellow) 6-spokes demi-wheel, below in a red field is the lower part of a silver (=white) inescutcheon superimposed by a golden (=yellow) demi-escarbuncle having in total eight beams (aka as Glevenrad).
Meaning:
According to source the wheel is symbolizing the lordship of Voerde, which had been upgraded into a "Herrlichkeit" in 17th century. The wheel is a simplification of the arms of the lords of Syberg. They erected in 1668 the local castle in its current form. The lower part is symbolizing the dukes of Kleve.

The banner was approved by minister of interior of Northrhine-Westphalia on 15 May 1957, the coat of arms already on 18 October 1951.
