Renaissance shield Or a bend sinister Azure charged with two arrows Argent, over all a boar rampant Sable armed Argent and tongued Gules.
Meaning:
The boar (German: Eber) is a canting element. The bend sinister with arrows is taken from the personal arms of Franz Töpsl, Provost of the Augustine Polling Monastery between 1744 and 1796. He worked in the monastery as historian and promoter of its library. His arms displayed among others four arrows in a quartered shield. Furthermore the monastery had been the most important manorial lord until 1803, when it was secularised.
