Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules, a demi-eagle Argent couped per pale and holding a sceptre Or, at sinister Or, issuant from base a fir Vert and a squirrel Gules, climbing its stem.
Meaning:
Görwihl was enlarged by a merger with six other municipalities on 1 January 1975. The dexter half is symbolising that all municipalities belonged to Austria in the past, the sinister half is referring to the fact that all municipalities belonged to the County of Hauenstein within the Habsburg possessions.

Banner and arms were approved for the former Görwihl municipality on 3 March 1970 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 800/1970, and confirmed on 16 December 1975 by the county administration, published in GABl 359/1976.
