The flag of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Flaggenkunde (DGF). This was designed by Jürgen Rimann for representing German vexillologists at the 15th International Congress of Vexillology at Zurich (1993) and was adopted in a modified form in 1995 by the newly established DGF. For each of the German vexillological conventions there was an own flag incorporating a symbol of the convention site into the basic design of the DGF flag.

For each of the German vexillological conventions there was an own flag incorporating a symbol of the convention site into the basic design of the DGF flag. The first of these (also designed by Jürgen Rimann) showed a lion rampant for the convention in Braunschweig (Brunswick) in 1990.
