Flag of Tiétar

The symbols of Tiétar are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3. Diagonally divided into two triangles by a blue and white wavy stripe representing river Tiétar (running from the hoist's lower angle to the fly's upper angle), green at hoist and white at fly. Charged in the center with the municipal coat of arms.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Argent a rye spike or, 2. Vert a tobacco leaf or. A chief azure two fesses wavy argent. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.

The colors of the flag are those of the municipalities from which Tiétar originates; white and blue (Serradilla), white, green and blue (Talayuela), and white and green (Malpartida de Plasencia). The design of the flag, however, drastically differs from that of these towns, to highlight Tiétar's proper identity.
The rye (centeno) spike refers to the original site of Tiétar, the Centenillo pasture, once belonging to Serradilla and Malpartida de Plasencia.
Tobacco is the main source of income in Tiétar.
The chief represents river Tiétar, running from the north.
