The flag of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, adopted at an unknown date by the Municipal Council, is in proportions 2:3, diagonally divided per bend red over green.
The flag seen on 9 September 2001 in front of a restaurant is charged with the municipal coat of arms in the middle.

The coat of arms of Santa Lucía shows a green palm tree in a blue field. The base is five times divided per fess into alternating brown and beige stripes. The stem of the palm tree is superimposing four of the stripes. The top edge of the shield is embowed. Its centre is superimposed by a white disc bearing a red aboriginal sun (or star) pattern. A golden, stylized coronet is topping the whole ensemble.

According to José Manuel Erbez (Banderas y escudos de Canarias, 2007; website), these arms, stressing the importance of pre-Hispanic people of Gran Canaria, do not match heraldic rules. They superseded the former arms approved on 30 May 1975 by the Municipal Council and abolished at an unknown date.
