The municipality of Yebra (444 inhabitants in 2018; 5,649 ha; municipal website) is located 50 km south-east of Guadalajara.
Yebra is named for the Germanic tribe of Eburones, which once invaded the region of Guadalajara. After the Christian reconquest from the Muslims, the town was re-settled by the Order of Calatrava. Pedro Girón, Master of the Order, granted the status of villa to Yebra in 1459.

in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 42, pp. 4,446-4,447 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: In proportions 2:3. Blue panel charged in the center with the coat of arms of the municipality.
The coat of arms of Yebra is prescribed by an Order issued on 6 February

The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Argent a Cross of Calatrava a chief vert a Capital letter "Y" or. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
