The municipality of Laperdiguera (98 inhabitants in 2008; 1,130 ha) is located in the Province of Huesca. Laperdiguera (aka La Perdiguera) had a castle mentioned in 1299, which succeeded a Roman tower watching the Imperial way linking Llerda to Osca. The local hero is José Cavero Maza De Lizana, appointed Professor at Huesca in 1727, subsequently Vicar General of Jaca and Inquisitor General of Aragón and Mallorca.

"Radio Huesca" announced on 14 April 2009 the adoption of the flag and arms of Laperdiguera by the Council of Government of Aragón. The flag of Laperdiguera is in proportions 2:3, red, with at hoist a blue triangle charged with a white partridge and in the red part a tower yellow with a door in its lower part and three semi-arched windows in its upper part.

The coat of arms of Laperdiguera, after which the flag was designed, is "Gules a tower surmounted by three semi-arched openings or masoned sable, a chief azure a partridge argent. The shield surmounted with the crown of the arms of Spain."
