Introduction

The Jame story arc (also known as Kencyr books) is fantasy with a science fictional backdrop (not unlike the Pern novels). It is set on the fictional planet of Rathillien and comprises six novels and eight short stories.

High Council Houses' Standards

In the book The God Stalker Chronicles (ISBN: 978-1-4391-3336-1), on page 911, is a list of standards used by nine High Council houses:

  1. Caineron: A serpent devouring its young
  2. Ardeth: Full moon
  3. Randir: A gauntleted fist grasping the sun
  4. Brandan: Leaping Flames
  5. Jaran: Stricken tree
  6. Coman: Double-edged sword
  7. Edirr: Stooping Hawk
  8. Knorth: Rathorn
  9. Danior: Wolf's Mask, snarling
