According to Ar Banniel [arb] #10 (1999), the official flag of the municipality of Le Juch, created in 1999 by Bernard Le Brun, is white with a blue cross, a black ermine spot in each quarter and, overall, a blue escutcheon outlined in white and charged with a white lion with red tongue and claws.
The escutcheon, "Azure, a lion argent armed and langued gules", is the coat of arms of the Barons of Le Juch, whose lineage extincted at the end of the 15th century.
The four ermine spots represent the four sections of the municipality.
The cross, here blue, recalls the Breton flag in
the Crusades times (black cross on a white field). The
Barons of Le Juch went on the Crusades, while the soldiers
from the Pays glazik (Blue Country), to which Le Juch belongs, are
supposed to have worn blue crosses.
The flag was officially presented on Sunday 4 April 1999 during the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the creation of the municipality. There is also a vertical version of the flag.
