Presentation of Lumbres

The municipality of Lumbres (3,685 inhabitants in 2016; 990 ha) is located 10 km south-east of Saint-Omer, at the junction of the valleys of rivers Aa and Bl&e&cute;quin.

Olympique Lumbrois is an amateur football club founded in 1947.
To celebrate the advance of the club to the Regionale 1 league - the 6th level of the football league system -, the club's supporters hoisted flags to the club's colours on the hill overlooking the neighbouring village of Elnes. One flag is vertically divided green- red while the other is quartered green and red.
