Flag of Grand Lyon

The flag seen in front of the seat of Grand Lyon in 2017 (photo, photo), but probably in use since 2015 or 2016, is vertical (3:2), red with the logo in the lower part. In the official logo, in use since January 2015 the words "la métropole are written in small, lower case letters below, ferrated on the right. It seems that on this flag, they are placed above the words "GRANDLYON" ferrated to the left, as prescribed for vertical versions in the graphical chart.

Flag of the Communauté urbaine de Lyon, obverse (reconstructed) and reverse - Images by Olivier Touzeau, 22 January 2019

The flag used by the Communauté urbaine de Lyon (photo, reverse) was red with the logo rotated orthogonally in the fly; "GRAND" in white letters, "LYON" in black letters, with words in small, lower case letters. The logo was adopted in 2003.
The logo with the words "la métropole" got in use in January 2015, the words probably are "communauté urbaine" as in the former logo, although they are displayed differently (image).
