Presentation of Cargos Bretons

Compagnie des Cargos Bretons is incidentally mentioned in Jean- Michel Roche's Dictionnaire des bâtiments de la Flotte française de Colbert à nos jours. Tome II. 1876-1906. On 15 April 1920, the company purchased from the French Navy the patrol boat Ablette, which had served in 1917-1919, and renamed it Lieutenant Le Mounier.

House flag of Cargos Bretons

The house flag of Compagnie des Cargos Bretons is shown in the Yearbook of the Central Committee of France Shipowners (1922) as white with a red border and the red letters "C.B" in the middle. Album des Pavillons (1923) [f9r23] shows the flag with black letters.
