Royal Army Dental Corps HQ or Camp Flag
On this page:
See also:Army regimental surgeons had been providing dental care to British soldiers in time of war since 1660 but it was not until 1901 that was formally established as part of the Royal Army Medical Corps. In 1908 it was completely dissolved and the Army turned to contracting outside civilian dentists to provide dental care for the soldiers, but not their families. In 1921 a separate Army Dental Corps (ADC) was formed. It was awarded the "royal" title in 1946 in recognition of its service in the World War II. Today the Royal Army Dental Corps provides dental health services to all British military personnel and their families.

Royal Army Dental Corps Tactical Flag
The Royal Army Dental Corps Tactical Flag is a horizontal tricolour in a dark green-dark red-dark blue pattern. The top dark green and bottom dark blue stripes are twice as thick as the narrow middle dark red stripe. It differs from the Royal Army Dental Corps HQ or Camp Flag missing the Royal Army Dental Corps Badge centered upon it.
