Flag and emblem of Adjara, 2000-2004 - Images by Jaume Ollé, 2 March 2002
See also:
Both the flag and national emblem of Adjara, as well as a national anthem, were adopted on 26 June 2000.
The dark blue colour of both flag and emblem represents the
Black Sea, on which Adjara is located. The seven stars represent the
two cities (Batumi and Kobuleti) and five districts (Batumi, Kobuleti, Keda, Shuakhevi, Khulo) of Adjara, which appear in the
Constitution of Adjara (§5. Cities, Districts and Towns in the
Adjara Autonomous Republic).
On the emblem, the eagle is a symbol for freedom, power, application and care. The two olive branches at the bottom of the emblem are a symbol of peace. The inscription reads Ac'aris Avt'onomiuri Resp'ublikh'a Sakartvelo (Adjara Autonomous Republic of Georgia), in Georgian alphabet.

Nations Without States
[mnh96] describes the flag of
Adjara as green, with a narrow red border, and a white crescent and
star in the center.
I caution that this book does not cite sources for its flag
information.

Flag and emblem of the Union for the Democratic Revival - Images by Jens Pattke, 19 July 2001
Quoting the Official website of the Ajar Autonomous Republic:
The flag of the Union for the Democratic Revival is a blue rectangular flag. Blue is the symbol of a sea country. In the upper left-hand corner of the flag on the background of cloudless blue sky there are twelve shining golden seven-pointed stars symbolizing the unity of the historical parts of Georgia and of the regional structure of the state. The main idea represented by the flag is the revival of the regions and of the industrious mighty democratic state. The emblem of the Union: Mountain eagle is the symbol of freedom, reason, mightiness and constant vigilance. The eagle, which is the reliable guard of the country, looks proudly and confidently with its keen eyes into the boundless space, with its spread strong wings, which are the symbol of eternity and overall revival, it supports the life-giving Sun. The olive branches are the symbol of peace.
Inscription: Demokratiuli Agordsinebis Kavshiri (Union for the Democratic Revival), in Georgian alphabet.
