The flag is red and blue with the yellow triangle from left in
the centre the is a coat of arms of the settlement
Description of the coat of arms of the village: Standing shield
with pointed bottom. In blue field there are two arms crossing
each other. The right red arm in a rolled up white shirt-sleeve
catches the throat of a green snake keeping a gold orb in its
mouth. This symbol relates to the Dorozsmai Clan ruled this
territory before the Mongol Invasion (1241-42). The arm relates
to the Cumanians resettled this territory. In the left red arm in
a rolled up white shirt-sleeve there is a silver sword relates to
the new settlers from the Military Borderlands after the Turkish
wars. The silver wavy line relates to the Sija brook, the brook
of this territory. In the middle of the bottom of the shield
there is a silver water running over a red amphora relates to the
name of a village: Forráskút means spring-head. Both of the
left and right side of the amphora there are one gold bell relate
to the Roman Catholic settlers and the historical church fallen
into ruin at the time of the Mongol Invasion "but its bell
could be hear on the nights of the excellent days". The
helmet on the shield relates to the heroes of the territory.
Information is from <www.morahalom.hu>.
It seems the description of the coat of arms and the picture of
the coat of arms is not exactly equal.
